TERMS & CONDITIONS
AGE.
All travelers must be at least 18 years old to travel with Soul Trips. If a minor wants to travel with Soul Trips, they have to be accompanied with their legal guardian or custodian and have written authorization from the parents of the traveler.
HEALTH.
You are responsible for obtaining all required health information and vaccinations and for all costs incurred. You must be in general in good health. Soul Trips reserves the right to insist on medical certification from your Medical Practitioner, stating that you are medically and physically fit for your chosen trip. If you suffer from heart, chest, muscular, neurological or respiratory disorders, severe asthma or high blood pressure, or other acute / chronic illness, you must acknowledge and/or should seek qualified specialist medical advice before considering joining a trip. You must disclose this information to Soul Trips at the time of registration. Soul Trips has the right to deny any traveler from joining if they think it could represent a liability for the company, the traveler or other travelers and to not return any amounts of money if the information was not disclose to Soul Trips prior to the booking.

INSURANCE.
We strongly encourage every traveler to have travel Insurance for medical emergencies, emergency evacuation and/or repatriation with coverage of at least $100,000 USD. Soul Trips will not be responsible for covering any expenses resulting from a medical emergency, visit to a local doctor, any medical procedure, or repatriation. If you live in Canada and are in need of travel insurance, Soul Trips has a trusted provider that can serve your needs for travel insurance.
VISAS and LEGAL ENTRANCE to the destination.
Valid passports are required for travel to most destinations. Please check with the appropriate consulate or embassy for the latest visa requirements. You assume complete and full responsibility for, and hereby release Soul Trips from any duty or responsibility for, checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety or security conditions at such destinations. It is your responsibility to ensure the veracity and adequacy of information provided to Soul Trips.

COUPONS AND DISCOUNTS.
Coupons must be applied at check out and the amount of the discount will be deducted as the traveler inputs the code on the space designated for it. Discounts are applicable to travelers who book directly through the Soul Trips website. All travelers referred by other promotional websites are not eligible for extra discounts.
Discount codes, special offers, and coupons are to be used individually and can not be combined with any other offer, discount or coupon. Coupons can be changed and eliminated at the discretion of Soul Trips and with no previous announcement.

FREE RESERVATION DRAW.
By subscribing to our email list, your name and email is automatically entered in our annual draw of a FREE RESERVATION with Soul Trips. The draw will take place every February 2nd and the winner will be announced on our social media. The winner must redeem the free reservation within a year of the draw. This gift can not be combined with any other coupons, offers, or discounts. It has no monetary value. Soul Trips will wave the reservation fee for the trip of the winner's choice. It can not be transferred to another person or another year.

PAYMENTS.
Payment of initial deposit (registration fee) is a final action. The total fee of the trips must be completed 14 days before the start of the event or retreat. Payments can be made through the Soul Trips website, e-transfer for participants in Canada, and third party websites. Soul Trips is not responsible for payments made or refunds requested through a third party website.

THIRD PARTY WEBSITES.
All travelers booking through third party or promotional websites are subject to the price shown on those websites. Any discounts shown on the Soul Trips website or discount coupons will not be applicable to third party website bookings. In the case of "Cancelations by Soul Trips" or "Cancelations by you", refunds are based on the amount received by Soul Trips after third party websites' fees.

ONLINE EVENTS.
All payments made for an online event are final and under no circumstances the payment will be refunded to the participant.
Cancelations by Soul Trips. All money collected will be allocated as credit for another online event.
CANCELATIONS by SOUL TRIPS.
If Soul Trips is forced to notably modify, reschedule, or cancel your trip, due to any factors outside of Soul Trips' control, such as weather, natural disaster, world pandemics, acts of war, or partner actions, you will receive a refund of all paid money to Soul Trips, with the exception of the initial deposit (registration fee), and cancellation / administrative costs that we, Soul Trips incur, such as but not limited to: currency exchange fees, staff fees, lodging, transportation, payments made to local providers, payment processing fees, etc. The initial deposit (registration fee) might be allocated to other / future retreats of the same kind (International, local, online events, etc) at the discretion of Soul Trips and within two years of the initial cancellation date. No refunds will be granted for the initial deposit (registration fee), no exceptions.

CANCELATIONS by YOU.
If you are forced to cancel your trip, any cancelations made on your behalf will result in the loss of all money collected. Soul Trips might consider an exception to the rule,
in which case, you might be eligible for a refund of all paid money, with the exception of the initial deposit (registration fee), and cancellation / administrative costs that we, Soul Trips incur, such as but not limited to: currency exchange fees, staff fees, lodging, transportation, payments made to local providers, payment processing fees, etc. The initial deposit (registration fee) might be allocated to other / future retreats of the same kind (International, local, online events, etc) at the discretion of Soul Trips and within two years of the initial cancellation date. No refunds will be granted for the initial deposit (registration fee), no exceptions.

REFUNDS.
All refunds will be processed through the same system used at the moment of payment, (Stripe, Paypal, E-transfer, etc.) unless Soul Trips decides on a different option. For events in USD, paid in US Dollars, the amount we receive in Canadian Dollars is the amount that will be refunded with the exception of any transaction fees and registration fee. After the cancellation or rescheduling of an event or trip, Soul Trips will offer refunds within a period defined by Soul Trips. After that period has passed, there will be no further refunds. All money collected can be allocated as credit for the participant to use in future events or trips considering the price difference for the new event and up to two years after the cancellation of the original event. No refunds will be granted for the initial deposit (registration fee), no exceptions. For payments made in US Dollars, the participant is responsible for fees associated with bank transfers or credit card refund processing companies. FLIGHT RELATED CANCELATIONS.
Soul Trips takes no responsibility for any flight delays or schedule changes at any stage throughout the trip. In the event of any such changes no refund will be considered and you must seek recompense through your own travel insurance. We recommend you purchase insurance, for trip and baggage delay, trip cancellation or interruption. Your airline can provide you with more information.
ABOUT THE TRIP.
Soul Trips reserves the right to decline anyone from joining a trip with justifiable cause which it could be related but no limited to the participants' health condition. Soul Trips also reserves the right to remove you from a trip if you are creating a hazard to yourself or others, impacting the enjoyment of others, or participating in any illegal activity. Any costs resulting from being removed from a trip or being declined participation in a trip is at your expense. Soul Trips accepts no responsibility for any airline cancellation penalty incurred by the purchase of a non-refundable ticket or any other cost that you may incur.
Dates, schedules, trip details and costs are given in good faith, based on information available and in effect at the time they are given. They are subject to change and revision in the event of a change of circumstances.
DURING THE TRIP
Optional Activities.
During the trips, there may be opportunities to participate in activities or local events, which are not included in Soul Trips' offer. Soul Trips disclaims all responsibility and makes no representations or warranties with regard to the safety or quality of these activities and event. Any assistance given to you by any member of Soul Trip's staff, to help arrange or pay these optional activities, don't constitute a waiver of this disclaimer, as Soul Trips does not sponsor or endorse these activities or events, nor can be held liable for any injury or illness or any consequence resulting from your participation. If you decide to participate in these events, you do so voluntarily and are responsible for taking appropriate precautions to ensure your own safety. All optional activities are paid by you, locally and most times directly to the supplier of the activity, event, or service.

Risks and Hazards.
Risks and hazards that may be present during any trip include, but are not limited to: Travel by automobile or other means of transportation. Hazards of hiking, water activities, exploring, or participating in activities that take place in remote or rugged, unpredictable terrain and where phone or radio communications are unavailable. Risks associated with wildlife encounters while participating in any outdoor activity. Risks associated with crossing roadways and entering/exiting vehicles, the unavailability of immediate medical attention or means of rapid evacuation in case of emergency. Risks of injury, dehydration, or even death resulting from your participation in any sporting or adventurous activity such as boating, surfing, fishing, swimming, scuba diving, diving, parasailing, hiking, yoga, zip lines, rope swings, walking tours, photography tours, vehicle tours, and scenic flights. Mechanical or construction failures of vehicles and equipment. Any physical, mental, or other conditions or disabilities that belong to you or anyone you are traveling with; you may be a hazard to any group members and may be exacerbated by any of the other risks listed above. Acts of God, acts of terrorism, forces of nature, and unpredictable weather conditions. Areas of unsafe or unstable conditions due to political or civil disturbances, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In addition to assuming each and everyone of the risks of a trip, some of which are listed above, you agree to be responsible for any and all expenses resulting from any inherent risk, whether identified or not, and as a result of your negligence, including physical injuries or any other kind of medical emergency. Your participation in Soul Trips activities is purely voluntary. No one is forcing you to participate, and you elect to do so in spite of the risks. You may choose to not participate in certain activities; however, no refunds will result from this decision.
Seat Belt Policy.
To ensure the safety of our Travelers and staff, it is your responsibility to wear your seatbelt properly and at all times while the vehicle is in motion. However, some vehicles internationally may not be equipped with these restraints as accepted by local laws.

LOCAL LAWS AND DRUG USE.
Traveling to international destinations will expose you to unique situations and experiences that may be different than those you are familiar with in your home country. Soul Trips' staff will discuss these differences during your trip, but you also have a responsibility to perform your own research and act responsibly while traveling. Soul Trips does not endorse drug use of any kind during our trips and strongly encourages responsible alcohol consumption. This policy is in place for your safety and those traveling with you. Safety is our priority.
Excessive drinking could cause your removal from the trip at the consideration and evaluation of Soul Trips' staff. Participating in any illegal activities will result in your immediate removal from the trip. In any case of removal of a traveler from any trip, Soul Trips will not be held responsible for any expenses related to this action or for any refunds of a partial or total cost of the trip.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Soul Trips and associated companies reserve the right to take photographs at anytime during any trip and use them for promotional purposes. By booking a reservation with Soul Trips, you agree to allow your images to be used in such photographs. These images will not be sold for any purpose without your inspection or approval. You hereby release Soul Trips from all current and/or future claims and liability relating to photographs.
The photographer on the trips, own the rights to the photos and are allowed to use them for personal and promotional purposes only.
DATA COLLECTION
All personal information collected by Soul Trips will only be used for the purpose of planning retreats and events.

APPLICABLE LAW
Soul Trips and Customers hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of a Provincial Court of Alberta, situated in Calgary, Canada for any actions, or proceedings arising out of or relating to this terms and conditions.

Soul Trips reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at anytime without prior notice. In the event that any changes are made, the revised terms and conditions shall be posted on this website immediately.
