DATE & LOCATION
Sep 09, 2018, 8:45 AM – 12:45 PM
Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park, 255001 Glenbow Rd, Cochrane, AB T4C 0B7, Canada
As you know, we decided to change the date of this getaway due to the bad air quality in the area. We are hoping September 9th will be a much better time for us to get together and enjoy the morning.
Soul Trips and The Green Wall Home have created a partnership to bring you a little adventure once a month. We are kicking off this new project of local getaways at the beautiful Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park.
Far enough to feel that you are away from the noise of the city but close enough to get there in less than one hour. The Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park is the ideal location for our very first local getaway!
This local discovery morning will start at 8.45am. We will meet at the parking lot of the Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park to start our activities at 9:00am sharp.
The hike is easy to moderate which will give you a nice opportunity to connect with nature and the wild life that you might see along the way.
The Ranch's history, connects the city of Calgary with this area in a beautiful way that you'll discover along our walk. Dained Vera from The Green Wall Home will tell you all about it.
Once we get warmed up and ready to stretch our mind and bodies after a bit of a hike, we'll get ready to start our mindfulness exercises and a bit of yoga with our teacher Paola.
After our class with Paola, we will finish our hike and head down to the picnic area to share a lunch together, get to know each other, and celebrate the accomplishments of the day! This will mark the end of our discovery morning in Calgary!
