Nowadays all we hear is to let go, to get rid of the old structures and patterns in order to receive what the universe has to offer. In my opinion all this has to be done at the same time that you raise your vibration, and work on your consciousness.

The big question here is: How do I elevate to a better me?

I might not have the right answer to this, but I can share some ideas that I've been using and that have worked for me.

1. Be thankful.

You might say: Yes Clara I appreciate what I have and I say thank you all the time. But let me tell you something I did during the summer, that really helped me, I started making lists of things I'm thankful for and why (I did a 28 day thank you challenge and it really helped me realize of the things I have, and that most of the time I take them for granted, if you wanna know more leave a comment and I can make another post about it)

2. Spend quality time with yourself.

When was the last time that you went on a date with yourself? If you feel scared or embarrassed of sitting alone at a restaurant, try it at home. Cook or order your favorite meal, have a glass of wine, choose a playlist and dance! Spoil yourself without distractions, treat yourself as you would like someone to treat you on your dream date. Put aside your phone, no one likes to be on a date with a person that can't keep their hands off their phones.

3. Try an activity that you have never done before.

Do something completely new, this will allow your mind to be fully present, since it is something that is not registered in your brain. It can be learning pottery, trying a yoga class or as simple as dancing/walking under the rain.

4. Make a short (or long) list of positive adjectives about yourself

Write 10 nice things about yourself and read them to you every morning, and before going to bed. If you are brave enough, you can try reading them out loud and in front of the mirror, the idea is to always start with I, for example: I am intelligent, I am beautiful, I am lovable, I am one with the universe, I am attractive, I respect myself...

5. Do something nice for someone

You don't have to join the permanent volunteering club in your city, though you could. Anyway, what I mean is to do a good action for other person, it's as simple as opening the door for them, sharing a snack with someone on the street, getting a coffee to your coworker or classmate. Another thing that can be very rewarding is to volunteer for some hours with a non profit organization. These kind of actions make you feel good and for sure you will connect with your higher self.

My conclusion is that when you do stuff like this you keep yourself in the present moment, you stop worrying about the past or what will be like tomorrow, and focus on enjoying your now. And as you are enjoying your time, you vibrate as a whole with the universe!

Hi! My name is Amy Tung and I am an entrepreneur, a Yoga teacher, a community advocate, and I love sharing my life experiences to empower those around me.

About 3 months ago, I decided to quit my job because it was no longer serving me. I was super stressed out and my back/leg pains started to resurface. I thought I would suck it up until I was done school or until I found another job, but I just couldn’t. There were so many blockages- it kinda felt like rocks thrown at me as a sign to get out, so I did. The day I left, a BIGGER DOOR opened for me.

MY LIFE CHANGED People started to connect with me, I got back into a regular gym regime, interviews after another, volunteering at non-profits, attending yoga retreats, going hiking, reading etc… Doing the things I kept putting off because I was either too tired or busy. Things started to unfold quickly, leading to where I am today! Now, I go with the flow with no hesitation. I know I will be supported all the way.

Shortly after, I started a IG account to inspire and empower women by promoting self-love through words, life, and work. In a span of a few weeks, I went from 500 to 1000+ followers. On that platform, I am able to be expressive and engage with a different audience. It was very scary at first because people thought I was going through emotional trauma or going “crazy” LOL I also learned a very valuable lesson, be fearless!

I started the “I am Love Project”! My mission is to promote self-love, and build community engagement. By encouraging volunteerism and giving funds to smaller Canadian non-profit organizations, we together can make a huge impact in our communities. We will release a new crystal bracelet made within the community monthly to honor a new charity.

I also bring people together through the power of Yoga. I believe that our practice on the mat teaches us to love and accept ourselves exactly as we are. It helps us rise and shine through life’s many hard ships and triumphs.

I truly believe your best life is about immersing yourself in enriched experiences. Living an abundant life is about sharing and giving back to our community. Your support will strengthen the chain of love, inspire, and change lives!

Mi objetivo personal era muy claro: Reinventarme. Por lo que consideré que la mejor forma de hacerlo era cambiar de aires, alejarme del ruido externo para escuchar mi voz interior y tener una mejor perspectiva de mi vida actual. En el mes de Abril tuve la oportunidad de vivir el retiro de bienestar Soul Trips y Swede Wellness, en la Riviera Maya, y me gustaría compartir algunas de las conclusiones a las que llegué después de los talleres que llevamos a cabo durante estos días de relajación y desconexión de la rutina diaria. Agradecer y conocer tus metas personales fue el objetivo general del retiro, analizar tus actitudes, siendo sincero contigo mismo en lo que te gusta y lo que no te gusta hacer. Según las enseñanzas prácticas que aprendimos con Sofie (nuestra wellness coach), es necesario priorizar las 24 horas del día con acciones específicas, planeación a mediano y largo plazo, y por supuesto, no perder el enfoque; entender que hay que escuchar y pensar antes de actuar y hablar, respirar profundo cuando la ansiedad se hace presente. Para poder lograr todo esto, utilizando el sistema sueco es necesario dividir y priorizar. Personalmente mis prioridades son: pasar tiempo de calidad con mi familia, trabajar en equipo, planear mi día laboral por horarios, descanso, ejercicio, alimentación, meditación y yoga. Obviamente sin perder valores como la integridad, honestidad y respeto para vivir en el presente y ser productivo.

Identificar mis prioridades.

Demasiadas cosas, ¿verdad? pero gracias a que pude "escapar" por un rato de mi rutina, fue posible identificar mis prioridades reales haciendo un examen de conciencia, para posteriormente establecer mis metas (económicas, calendario de pagos, orden de operación, necesidades familiares).

Aprender a evaluarme.

Aprendí que es necesario evaluarte objetivamente en el cumplimiento de metas, y tener un plan de contingencia en caso de no cumplirlas. Pero lo más importante es ser honesto en si estas logrando tus metas o no, así como la flexibilidad para tomar las acciones necesarias para modificar lo que no se está haciendo.

Entender que no estoy solo.

Entre más compartas más llega a tu vida, hacer servicio comunitario nos lleva a una integración con la sociedad, nos ayuda a entender que no estamos solos. Con fe en Dios y en ti mismo todo es posible, siendo constante se logra cualquier objetivo. Hazte amigo de la incomodidad, y trasciende a ella. Aunque mi experiencia puede sonar muy técnica, verdaderamente este retiro ha representado un parte-aguas en mi crecimiento personal, conocí personas increíbles con las que pude compartir, conectar y darme cuenta que no estoy solo en este camino, y siempre puedo contar con ellos.

Recuerda que siempre debe existir equilibrio entre mente, cuerpo y espíritu. Ocuparse y no preocuparse es regla de vida, la perseverancia y continuidad son nuestras mejores herramientas.
